A Class Building and Construction completed our renovation in 2022. Rob and Scott were outstanding to work with and my wife and I recommend them highly. Throughout our renovation they worked with us. Each morning, they would be respectfully waiting outside our garage door between 7-7.30 each day and when we opened the door they would provide an update of the planned works for the day and help us make decisions for the renovation. Nothing was a problem and any problems (which will occur on any renovation) were dealt with quickly and with minimum fuss. The crew of builders were enthusiastic, polite and worked to a very high standard. Rob kept us informed throughout the build with regular after hour phone calls and this was regular enough without being overwhelming. We recommend A Class building highly.

We cannot say thank you enough to the team from A Class for bringing our dream of creating a boutique training facility to life. Their dedication, attention to detail and workmanship was second to none during the trying times in which construction took place. The finished product more than exceeded our expectations, and resulted in a premises that has quickly become recognised as a one of a kind, stand out facility on the south coast.

We had major renovations done recently by A Class Building. We found them to be easy to deal with, flexible and they always kept us in the loop with status of the build. The quality of their work is also top notch.

If you are looking for a local builder who are reliable and will do a good job then you can’t go past A Class Building.

Very happy with the service and build quality from GPH for our custom home. Have already recommended them to some friends, who have just completed their own custom build with them.
Special thanks to one of the owners, Mark, who was always available to assist, even years after the build. Also, to the Admin Manager, Abbie, who was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Their Building Supervisor, Paul, also provided prompt and helpful service.
Only points of recommendation for the company as a whole, is to watch the estimates for the ‘provisional allowances’ and make sure there is plenty of notice given if any alterations are required for set invoices/drawdowns.
Overall, there is no need to search any further for your specialised, custom design home builder.

My wife and I have worked with Grand Pacific Homes twice and both times have been incredibly impressed by their attention to detail, timeliness and communication. Our first home was a custom build and the team offered up great ideas, kept us informed along the process and pushed our deadline forward to allow us to be in our first home before the arrival of our daughter. Our second property they renovated from an old fashioned 80s home into a modern house within months, transforming the space below budget and in a timely fashion. We would not hesitate building with Grand Pacific Homes and can not recommend them highly enough.

I have built with Grand Pacific Homes twice now and would build with them again. For my most recent build I came to Grand Pacific with a concept design from an architect. After receiving several quotes over-budget, they were able to help refine the design to an affordable build whilst maintaining the majority of our original concept.

During the build Mark and Clint were always contactable and were always consultative making sure the finishes were what we were after. I felt I was always part of the build process and despite frequently working away was always kept up to date.

We are so happy and delighted with our new home and appreciative of the volume of work Grand Pacific did to get us in before Christmas. The quality and craftmanship of their work surpassed our expectations and we have already recommended them to friends looking to build in the near future.

Sky Developments undertook a complete renovation of our 1970s house and did a wonderful job. Michael and Daniel are both extremely personable and honest, always giving me clear advice and guidance throughout the project.
Working through covid, crazy amounts of rain and supply shortages, they managed to pull off a wonderful job that exceeded our expectations while coming in on budget. The project came across a few major challenges onsite due to drafting issues and Michael and Daniel were able to come up with some creative solutions to keep things moving without compromising on the quality of the build.
Sky Developments used some wonderful contractors and staff, and overall, the team made the process as easy as possible.
Would recommend Sky Developments for anyone looking to build in the Illawarra.

I work as an independent interior designer and Smith & Sons are my first point of call for any client requiring any form of renovation. They are first class builders who only employ experienced tradespeople, have a very professional work ethic and work exactly to a clients budget and time scale. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. The entire team at Smith & Sons Wollongong are AMAZING. From the very first phone call – both Tracey and Michelle in the office were lovely and more than helpful. Tom, Terry and Nick – along with their awesome team of trades – are very knowledgeable, skilled and friendly, offering advice and reassurance whenever needed. Simply nothing was too much trouble. They handled everything from the very beginning to the end. We received updates daily or at most every few days of the progress and what things were up to. We did a MASSIVE renovation, yet the team accommodated us living onsite whilst the works were completed, working towards a tight deadline as we were expecting our first baby. I can not recommend these guys enough. You will not be disappointed – from their exceptional customer service, the way they handle everything for you, the way the building site is left clean and tidy each day and not to mention the timely manner building was completed.
Go with Smith & Sons – they will soon make you feel a part of their family and they truly want to complete the best possible outcome for you.

We used Livemore homes to build a two story duplex, existing house complete renovation and associated subdivision works. Ian and Lyndy and the rest of the team really did go the extra mile to ensure a high quality, on-time and excellent value product was delivered. We won’t hesitate to use them again for future builds in the Illawarra.

My relationship with this business is ongoing. They started a build over 6months ago in which as an adjoining property owner have found they’re lack of courtesy for neighbours, the disregard of retaining minimal impact on the nearby environment highly unacceptable. Efficiency is not a strong virtue of this company and impact on adjoining landowners is negligent. Good luck to any property owner for the belief he has contracted a professional company.

We’ve recently finished building our first home with Barrington Homes and could not recommend them highly enough.
Right from the beginning every staff member we engaged with were friendly, professional and helpful.
The team were flexible with our needs and the design process was easy and stress free and before we knew it, the build had begun. The build finished ahead of schedule and our site manager was meticulous with detail and timing and Barrington communicated with us regularly throughout.
We would absolutely build with Barrington again as Andrew, Mark, Angela, Shane, Kevin, Rachel and Michael made the entire process very enjoyable!

My partner and I have recently built our first home with Barrington. From the first day that we walked into their display home to the moment construction was finalised and even after that, Barrington have been nothing but amazing. Being our first home, we were both quite unsure of the process and what it involved, Angela and the owner Andrew were great in alleviating these worries and talking us through the process step by step. This continued throughout the construction phase as Mark, our construction supervisor, ensured that we were aware of each stage, what was required of us and was happy to help and give tips about construction. Everyone definitely went above and beyond what we would have expected from a building company, we highly recommend them to all of our friends and will be building our next house through them as well. The finished quality of our home is fantastic, well beyond what we experienced when walking through the display homes of any other builder on the South Coast. If you want good quality and to have a good building experience, build with Barrington.

We built our first family home with Barrington We have been here for two years now and still waiting on issues to be rectified (i must add, some have since been rectified) we have had the supervisor out 3 times to look at the same issues. Apparently they were not sure what to do with the grout falling out as homes don’t really use tiles in the southern highlands because its so cold. (Very odd statement considering most homes have tiles)
We opted for the cheaper range within Barrington (vibe) thinking the quality would be something similar in quality like the show homes. We should of gone for a cheaper project home for what we spent we could have gotten a lot more.
If you are to go with Barrington I would suggest going all out and spending top dollar hopefully then it will be of high quality..
One great thing about Barrington is Angela at reception is lovely…

We highly recommend Trademark Construction Illawarra after they built a pergola for us. From the initial competitive quote through to completion of the project, Tim was professional and efficient – he happily answered our many questions and provided good design advice. Tim along with his employees are hard workers, produce quality work, maintain a clean work site and are genuinely nice guys to have around! We love our new pergola which has already been put to great use for gatherings of family and friends. We would not hesitate to use their services again.

From the first moment I called Tim at Trademark Construction Illawarra, he was courteous, professional and prompt. I had an upstairs area a my sports centre that required renovation and some safety features installed. Tim’s work is of top quality and competitively priced. We extended an additional two rooms and added an alfresco to our property with Trademark Carpentry Illawarra completing all the carpentry works after a recommendation from a friend. Tim was very easy to work with and worked with us to achieve an outcome we are very happy with.

Tim made us a part of each decision whilst getting on with the works in a time efficient manner and with quality workmanship. Tim was also good enough to quickly help me with some odd jobs when I needed a hand which were out of his work scope which I was very appreciative of.

We are very happy with the finished product and recommend highly to anyone needing carpentry works.
