Haigh Park with BBQ equipment with seating and toilet block kept in reasonable condition also play equipment for children.
Haigh Park has a very nice walking track to Ernnie Park with some gym equipment.
At the end of the track a small walk to 7/11
For some refreshments.

Has got to be one of the most underrated parks in the Liverpool Local council area. With a recently renovated playground good for young kids and families, and wide open park area to enjoy for a quiet picnic this park is a real nice escape from the flat concrete jungle of Liverpool.
Note as well the long walk available along George’s River with lovely views of the water and wide paths great for a walk, bike ride, or run.

Toilets are close, great park for the kids, big field to play ball sports especially for large groups, lots of shady area. Great path for bikes and scooters.

Hidden Historical Area where wool was once sent across hearted river by barges and the old weigh station is in the park and it’s winch . Thomas Moore owned a lot of the area as was given by governor in his day . Kids Play Area with rubber ground , Few Klm tar walkways along river edge going under the Main Rd into Liverpool connects with the Skating Bowls and another playground with plenty grassed space for hundreds to have room to BBQ etc . Fishing here has Freshwater Species Above The Liverpool Weir and below it semi fresh water holds Bream, Small Jewfish, Bass, Baby Bull Sharks in numbers to 3-4ft long and the area is where our Botany Bay Prawns are born and run down the creeks and rivers with spring tides , floods and Moon Phases.
