Great apartments! Friendly and very helpful staff. Apartments are spacious, very clean, well stocked and everything works. Beds were very comfortable too – better than some hotels. Free onsite parking available too. We were also given a late check-out with ease. Would definitely recommend this resort and would stay there again.

The best holiday accommodation for the area.
The room was spot on, clean, tidy and spacious. Amenities close by were conveniently situated and the pool was marvellous. Hawks Nest Beach was good for a beach drive. Highly recommended

Great place to visit.
Right on the water, spacious privately owned units with everything.
Close to golf courses and fine eating venues. (Always packed so they must be good!

We booked here for a quick last minute getaway and were pleasantly surprised. It’s attached to a bowls club with bar and restaurant so more like a three star small hotel than a roadside motel in atmosphere.

Room was spotless and freshly painted. Tea Gardens is a gorgeous spot, very unspoilt with amazing beaches and a variety of nice places to eat. Very good value and we’ll probably come back again!

The room’s quality is good and has a decent size. But the customer service is very poor. The manager or staff were not ready to help at all. When we asked them for help, we had reply, we are happy to cancel your booking we will not give you any help now. It was when we were at the doorstep in the evening with kids and luggage.

This motel is connected to the country club next door. Rooms are clean and present well. I knocked a couple of stars off because we had someone next door and straight across the hall. This motel has almost 50 rooms to work with. I knew straight away that the convenience of the cleaning was a higher priority than the guest experience. A maximum of 8 rooms were booked for the night. The car park was almost empty.

We worshipped there a couple of times. The service stops for cuppa half way through. People are friendly enough. But suited for retirees rather than young families.

By far the best laid out over 55s’ Village I have ever seen.
Grand facilities including 3 tennis courts, 8 rink lawn bowls undercover, 2 huge members Club Houses with 3 snooker tables, drinks bar, commercial kitchens, 2 Ten Pin Bowling alleys, 80 seat slopping Cinema, gymnasium, 2 saunas, 20 MTR Indoor pool, large outdoor pool with spa, several BBQs and outdoor settings, large work shop, dual golf simulation room with table tennis and of course two irregular shaped lakes, one of each attached to the Club Houses to sail your one metre Yachts.
All homes are brick veneer with 2 or 3 bedrooms, large tiled alfresco areas with privacy screens and gardens.
All in all, very picturesque village of beautiful homes adorned with professional landscape gardens with large green grassed areas that are groomed by Palm Lake staff.
A wonderful place to live and enjoy your retirement days, doing as much or as little as you desire.

We’ve inspected quite a few Over 50s resorts and retirement villages in NSW and Queensland. Palm Lake Tea Gardens is a much higher quality than others.
We’re about to leave the award winning Over 50s Resort – Vision by Halcyon at Hope Island on the Gold Coast to take up residence at Palm Lake Resort Tea Gardens. We thought the Gold Coast Vision resort would be hard to beat, but Tea Gardens looks even better!

Some stuff can be a bit expensive.

I find it difficult to believe anyone could be so foolish as to compare the prices at Homestead Hardware in Tea Gardens with Bunnings in distant Heatherbrae, or even further, in Salamander Bay. The time and money expended in going so far, as well as the great range at Homestead Hardware Tea Gardens, make it well worth shopping locally in Tea Gardens.
