Came here for dinner Saturday 7th May across the road from Maroubra Beach. I hadn’t been here since 2014. The owner faintly remembered me from when I popped in between 2012-14 that made me happy. I had a supreme pizza it was cooked to perfection and wonderful soft base. I recommend anyone who comes to Maroubra Beach to grab a pizza you won’t be disappointed. Always happy to support a friendly small business.

The renovations to the pub are great, I hadn’t been here in over a year, maybe two so the changes were brand new to me. Cool Irish Pub vibe with live music. Was there on a Sat night for a friend’s birthday and we had exclusive use of the Library Room, a nook next to the kitchen, was great with booth seating.

Just a really nice atmosphere inside the hotel. The furniture is a bit dark but it’s probably the look they wanted. Anyway it’s my go-to place to eat dinner when I want to have a night off from cooking, so convenient for me.

Met up with family for a traditional Sunday Lunch, so not really judging the Hotel side of the business. With a two year old and a new born in tow we had our dinner in the Kids area, which very quickly become very packed and very noisy, as you’d expect. Had a look at the rest of the pub area, and it too was very crowded, although a little less noisy. The whole place has an ‘ex-pat’ air about it, which probably explains the Guinness on tap (which was excellent)
As for the food – basic pub grub at a decent price – nothing to get any food critics raving. Oh, and can’t understand why the apple pie came with strawberry and chocolate ice-cream, and not plain vanilla. Is that a thing over here??

Excellent value lunch special, main meal with a can of soft drink for only $12. Large portions and tasty food. Pad thai is one of the best I’ve ever had and really liked the use of red onions in the dish. Cosy little restaurant with glimpses of the ocean from some tables.

Great authentic thai dishes served by a smiling and attentive waitress.
Good value for money and plenty on the plates. Four people can easily share 3 courses and still bring leftovers home.
Great location just opposite Maroubra Beach and an easy walk to public transport.

Tashman driving school is awesome, the instructor was patient, calm and funny. He really knew his stuff especially when taking me around the test routes. I passed first go, can’t recommend them enough!

Tashman was a great help to me and me successfully passing my test. His happy and calming nature was a great bonus at such nervous times. As being an older learner he was calm, kind and specific and enabled me to pass my test with ease.

Have tried contacting multiple times to discuss my upcoming holiday to add accommodation and have been getting either no response or excuses a week later. They said they would send through options weeks ago and I have tried to book another flight but no response. Need to update travel insurance- no response. I’m flying in three weeks. If you can’t service your current clients don’t take on more. Really bad experience. I wouldn’t bother!

We had to make a booking, fair enough in these challenging Covid times. Then this man wanted to charge us $3,700 each to fly to Rome and back. I said I can buy them for $2.500 each but wanted to ask about insurance and a few other things. I was happy to pay their extra surcharge to pay in store and not online which is roughly $120 ish I think. But he was quite rude and short with me and said that $3,700 is the price and going up in price ???? Unfortunately Flight Centre is now not to be Trusted ???? I then bought tickets online for $2,800 ( Could find the original $2,500) but I saved us $1,800 for the 2 tickets. Staff can cost you your business, so if you want to stay in business you best you fix your dishonesty problem.

Service from our consultant Sarah was amazing nothing to fault. Minus stars for the new ‘make an appointment’ system, line up & hope someone comes to ask how they can help. The phone is never answered & don’t bother using the call back option. I used it 3 times, they never called back. Hence the line up at the store to book an appointment. Ridiculous, needs immediate attention.

Booked an appointment for renewal passport 3 month ago.
Due to covid, It has been a chaos to get a spot.

Arrived 10.05 am for appointment 10.15am.
Name being called : 10.13am.
Finish up 10.32am. Only took 17min in total.
Being told it will take 3-4 weeks to arrive.

Professional service.
good experience on site and online.
Please read through their website for documents requirements and so on, if you expect for nice and quick process. Use effort !

It was also easy process for applying new passport for my newborn baby.
We spent 30min that day.
All processed with super professional and took 5 weeks till we obtained the passport.

Handy Tips:
Please bring express post-prepaid ,so you dont need to come to collect the passport by yourself again.
Go and buy at nearby post office.

Only KJRI provide playground for kids.

The passport appointment was ontime we are very happy about it. Despite it takes 4 weeks for us to received it by mail but it notified at the appointment. The one less star is for the call. They rarely pick up the phone call. If you want to improve the service might be the call centre you need to expand in my opinion. Not all Indonesian live close to Maroubra and sometimes we need to ask little thing and phone call would be very much helpful for it.

The Eazy Passport service was great – I could take care of my passport renewal on the weekend so I did not need to take time off work. Everything was smooth, organized, and timely. Was expecting that the process to take 3-4 weeks given there were many applicants that day, but it was issued within only 10 days. I was well informed with email notications, and I got the new passport in the mail just few days after that. Great service, friendly and helpful consulate team, keep up the good work!

I was referred to Ray White by a close friend some years ago and was fortunate to have Kerrie manage my property and was somewhat concerned when she went to another area within the organisation ,but now Tim is managing my property, I couldn’t be more happy , he filled her shoes beautifully. I have to give my hat off to Tim Psaltis who has been the most amazing real estate agent I have ever crossed paths with. Through dealing with other agents from other companies it was clear no one came close to the professionalism, compassion and hard work Tim provided us when finding a property for us. Worst agency I had to deal with. Michael Guirguis was the property manager I had to deal with. When we had issues (leaks or dishwasher broken) we had to wait 4 months before a technician come to, not fix it, just have a look, at the end it took 6 months for every request. Also at the end of our lease we requested the pay back of the extra rent we have paid. Michael made some mistake in the calculation and treated us as stupid people who cannot count. At the end he realised his mistake and didn’t even apology, he found a way to say it wasn’t his fault. We will never contract a new apartement or anything if it has to come from this agency, never ever!

The thinest subway ever , will never comeback, blue cheese dressing was so sour and off (seems like expired already), asking for extra spinach and the staff just add 1pc of spinach , terrible service!

I can’t speak highly enough of the service I received at this store! The Manager, Simon was courteous, kind, helpful and I was able to pick up my car within the hour with everything fixed and an excellent competitive price. I will not hesitate to return, and to let me friends and family know.

Amazing team and amazing service! The guys there are always so busy and under the pump, but when I went there with an unexpected leak in my tyre and a 4 hour drive ahead of me, they fit me in straight away with a smile and I was on the road within the hour. Fantastic service!

I don’t write reviews but I felt I had to commend the team at Beaurepairs Maroubra. Any of the bad reviews for this place are just wrong. Spearheaded by Simon, who is a really nice guy and provides wonderful advice and service, the team here should be commended on the level of customer service they provide and professionalism and when it comes to all things wheels and tyres. I recommend this place to my friends and family and will return for all my future needs.

Target has come along way from 20 years ago. Or maybe it’s just adapted well according to the demands of the time. But the place is great for unbranded but “on trend” homewares. A good place for kids clothes and toys and has a proper selection of consoles and board games as well. This Target is in the mid point of Eastgardens and conveniently accessible, it’s spacious, well lit and pretty well organised.

I had the most wonderful experience with the woman who helped me today.
Not only did she help me choose the perfect piece for my godsons christening but also gave me a discount for the engraving of it.
Believe it or not I had it engraved wrong and she searched high and low for the 1 left the computer was saying the store had.
We laughed and put it down to a seniors citizens moment … (I’m 31).
I wish I got her name, she made me laugh when I was feeling pretty silly.

Was shocked to find out I had to pay $79.50 for my standard consult which took around 3 minutes, even with reciprocal health agreement.. wasn’t aware until after my consultation that they required a payment then and there. Have been told that there will be another payment required when I pick up my blood test results next week too. This was not the process all the other times I’ve visited. Will be going elsewhere once this is finalised. Really a shame as I liked the doctors here.

Attended this medical center and saw a wonderful doctor. She was brilliant and so thorough. She sent off some tests for analysis and told me that the results would be in on Monday or at the latest Tuesday. I called today (Monday) to ask whether my results were back so I could make an appointment and the receptionist said that she couldn’t tell me the results unless I booked an appointment. I repeatedly said I didn’t want her to tell me my results, just whether they were back yet or not, but she said I had to book an appointment. I then asked what happens if I book an appointment and my results aren’t back, she replied that that’s why they recommend we wait 3-4 days before making the results appointment. I informed her that my doctor said the results should be back today or tomorrow and she said I don’t know. I hung up. I have taken a day off work, am exhausted and trying to get answers. I called again and another receptionist picked up (she’s new). She was very friendly and helpful trying to find the answers for me. When she put me on hold, the general manager picked up and said “what do you want”. I then explained and she continued with this tone. I replied “I’m not sure why you are being aggressive”. She then said she didn’t mean to come off that way, she’s just a “loud” person. I understand that she is busy but you are dealing with people who are unwell or seeking help – be friendly over the phone. I explained my situation and she said that appointments should be made 48hours after the initial test, and if the results aren’t back the doctor will contact me. Why noone could tell me that before I will never understand.

Have been going to this medical centre for years as it is my local.
The level of care doctor to doctor ranges anywhere between excellent and pretty much useless.
The general standards of the practice at an administration level has been steadily declining for a while;

The phones usually don’t get answered.

Depending which member of reception serves you you can receive unnecessary hostility and rudeness.

They got rid of walk-ins.

It is very rare to see your doctor at the scheduled appointment time, they are usually at least 30 minutes late, I have had mine be over an hour more than once.

And now they have removed bulk billing so that a general consultation cost will cost you $40 (actually $80, but you are able to claim 50% back on medicare).

It is sad to see and unfortunately myself, and I suspect many others, will be looking for a new medical centre.

Accompanying my daughter to her appointment, the office wasn’t as tidy as it could have been & the person who eventually greeted us simply left us standing around while they went to find someone else to help us.

There was nothing about the whole experience/time that we were there that reflected a proper professional business environment experience – in my opinion.

Even since then they are seriously lacking in their ability to return phone calls or follow through with actions they’ve said they will do.

How can this benefit/help anyone gain meaningful employment when their own behaviour is so unprofessional???

I really enjoy dealing with Home Estate Agents. I have rent many different properties in the past and this is the first time I have met such a professional and involved team.

Starting with Alexi, the Property Manager: we met for the first time at an open inspection. As I was not interested by this property, he tried to get to know us and asked for our criteria. He called me back a couple of months later to introduce me another property. We had a personalized phone call so he could understand exactly what were my expectations. Then he reached out to me to organize a private inspection of the property that was completely matching all my criteria. He explained me clearly all the process to apply to rent the place and he has been really fast to get an approval. He is really responsive to all messages and phone calls and is always available to please his clients.

Then Paige, the Assistant Property Manager, was liaising with me to make sure our entry in the new place was smooth, from handover of the keys, to the condition report and any issue to fix, she has been very responsive to make sure everything is sorted quickly.

Overall very good level of service in this agency. I am very happy to have finally found a place where I feel home thanks to the great experience provided by Home Estate Agents! Thank you Team!

I؜ have been with Home Estate Agents for over 7 years and we only have had an amazing experience with the whole team. From the first meeting at the open inspection of our first rental property, to the application process and the signing the lease, to moving in, everything was such a breeze with exceptional service. When our landlord decided not to extend our lease (they were moving back to the house), Home Estate Agents helped me to secure a new rental house. Disgracefully slow services, and lack of respect for the community and environment. Environmental practices need to be changed or improved. Their contractors are the worst. They have also changed the communication to their FB page, censored the reviews and set posts to post approval, so if they see a post they decide to not like they ignore it. It used to be so easy to report a problem or issue to them. As rate payers we deserve a better service.

First time reviewing a council but I am very impressed with how Bayside responds to their communities needs. Queries and complaints are dealt with in an efficient and personal manner. Phone call confirmation & updates from council staffers are common and always conducted professionally.

Laziest council I have ever come across.
Only do what they deem necessary and nothing else. I have called the customer service line half a dozen times this morning, no answer, or answering service whatsoever.
Funny though, when the Golf is being held at the Lakes golf course, you will notice the streets are clean, gardens are all refreshed and maintained.
But for us ratepayers, anything you ask is a problem.
