Fantastic amount of play equipment for children. Very good facilities. Good amount of parking so you aren’t stressed or frustrated finding a spot. A nice walk along the river where plenty of cyclists use. It’s a great area that really acts as a hub of social and recreation activity for family.

Great park, however the toilets are a bit removed from the playground. The playground is quite spread out so you also really need to keep on moving to keep an eye on your kids, also as lots of the areas are hidden by hills. It is awesome tho as there are so many things to do. We were in a large group with kids and adults bikes where we could really use the great bike park. The water spray area was great especially if you bring swimmers as it rotates to the different spray zones with different strengths.

Lovely park, smack bang in the middle of Olympic precinct.
Unfortunately, lack of trees and shades (aside from the sides) makes it extremely hot in summer.
Good for walks and parks has amenities. Perfect for families on a day out with a picnic.
Also, the site holds several events throughout the year, ie. Royal Easter Show, Sydney Vegan Market.

Very nice playground in the olympic park. The best part is that it’s well lit up and you can stay there till late. The cauldron is often working as a water fountain, which is a nice addition.

The dog park is massive. But it’s one of those dog parks where the owners stay for ages and ages. So if you’re dog doesn’t get along with another or you don’t like the vibe then you’re better off going for a walk around the river because the owners stay for ages.

Toilets need to be upgraded and sometimes when there are parties and social events occurring, there is so much rubbish piled up in the bins that it is overflowing.
Otherwise, the rest of the walking track, fields are good for sports and pets, and has a nice view to the Parramatta River.
In future, there will be a Ermington Light Rail stop as part of the Parramatta Light Rail Stage 2 project so there will be improved accessibility and convenience to this park without the need for driving.
